The clinic offers child immunisations, skin checks, travel health, on site pathology, minor procedures, health assessments and all your general health needs. We have both female and male doctors available.
Direct Billing for o/s students available for students with a current card for the following – NIB, BUPA, Medibank, AHM, Allianz, Iman. Please bring your card to each consultation to allow us to direct bill. Some fees may apply.
Cancellation Policy – We understand that a patient my need to cancel an appointment due to unforeseen circumstances. However, we respectfully ask that cancellation of a scheduled appointment be done at least 6 hours in advance. Our doctors want to be available for your needs and the needs of all our patients. When a patient does not attend a scheduled appointment, another patient loses an opportunity to be seen.
We require a minimum of 6 hours notice of cancellation of a scheduled appointment. Otherwise you will be charged a cancellation fee of $50. The cancellation fee is not Medicare rebate-able.
STANDARD CONSULTATIONS WITH DOCTOR ARE BULK BILLED
Dr Shish Malgwa, a graduate from The University of Dundee and Oxford University Hospital, is an established General Practitioner from the U.K. Working as a GP Partner and in the Out-Of-Hours services has helped him gain a wide breadth of experience in Orthopaedics, Minor Injuries & Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics, Mental Health, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Furthermore, he is also involved in medical education as a trainer for students.
He opted for a career in General Practice because he feels that as a GP you’re an advocate for the patient’s overall health, rather than just one area. His aim is to provide a holistic approach concentrating on self-care that will ultimately benefit the patient.
Doctor Maryam obtained her fellowship at the Royal Australian College of General Practice in 2016, following training in Tamworth, New South Wales. She has four years’ experience in General Practise in Australia. Prior to that she has worked for three years in hospitals and clinics in Iran.
Doctor Maryam enjoys the diversity of General Practise, especially paediatrics, women’s health, chronic disease management and mental health.
She is passionate about applying a holistic approach to General Practice.
I studied at Upon Tyne University in Newcastle, England. I have an interest in women’s health and like to provide good holistic care to my patients. I pride myself on my listening skills.
I qualified as a GP in Cumbria in England in February 2017
Dr Farinaz Mehtari completed her Medical Degree in 2005 in Tehran, Iran. She moved to Australia in 2010 to study and work. She is an experienced General Practitioner with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital and healthcare industry both in Iran and Australia, in rural and metropolitan areas. She is also skilled in clinical research, medical education and emergency medicine.
She has been a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) since 2015.
She speaks Farsi in addition to English.
Dr Farinaz has special interest in Women, Young Adults, Children’s Health, Skin Diseases, Cosmetic Work (Anti-wrinkle Injections) and Travel Advice. She also performs minor procedures, including insertion and removal of contraception implants and Skin Biopsies as well as Chronic Disease Management.
Dr Mathini is a GP from the UK, having qualified at Guy’s, King’s & St Thomas’ School of Medicine, King’s College London in 2005. She worked on the Central Coast, NSW, in Australia in 2007-8 before returning to the UK and completing her GP training in August 2011. Mathini has been working as a GP in London and Surrey since then and has also tutored and examined at St George’s Medical School in London. She has a particular interest in minor ENT procedures, mental health, womens’ and children’s health and in education and is looking forward to getting more involved with teaching here.
