I am a tenanted General Practitioner at 63 Power Street, Southbank, within the MyClinic Southbank Facilities. I studied preclinical medicine at St Andrews University, Scotland and completed my medical training at Manchester University in 2002. I then worked for 6 years in adult hospital medicine including cardiology, respiratory, infectious diseases, oncology and intensive care. I was proud to obtain membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2006.
Following further training, I became a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2008. I then worked for 11 years as a GP in the UK before moving to Melbourne in 2019.
Alongside this, I am passionate about medical education and have worked in a variety of roles at Manchester and Liverpool Universities as well as with the General Medical Council. I have completed 2 formal qualifications in medical education and am currently an Academic Mentor at Melbourne Medical School.
I am experienced in all areas of general practice and have a keen interest in general adult medicine and mental health.
I adopt a friendly and informal approach to my consultations.
