Dr. John Brooks is a Sports Doctor and GP from London.
I am keen to help you and your families live an active and healthy life. I enjoy seeing all medical conditions and have a particular interest in Sport and Exercise Medicine for all ages, mental health, sexual health (male and female) and men’s health.
I have wide-ranging experience in managing sports injuries and musculoskeletal problems and working in professional sport, most recently as England Women’s Rugby Team Doctor. Conditions managed in both adults and children include musculoskeletal conditions and sporting injuries, arthritis, concussion, contraception, female health, asthma, and other medical conditions affecting sport and exercise. Areas of the body I inject include shoulders, knees, elbows, wrists, hands, ankles, and feet.
As a former professional rugby player, I understand the needs of people wanting to be healthy and active – and the frustration of medical issues and injuries. I am a Member of the UK Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine and Sports Medicine Australia; I have a PhD in Sports Injuries, degrees in Exercise Physiology and Sports Science and teach Sport and Exercise Medicine.
I like to ensure excellent management of all my patients and their families, and I am committed to making sure you are involved in your treatment plans.
